After his colab with Zeds Dead Hunter Siegel makes his second appearance on DidIMENTION, this time with his first single 'Waiting Up'.

 

The track has taken a long time coming to Hunter really taking the time to find his own sound in order to prevent the track blowing up and disappearing all in a matter of weeks, however once you hear the track you will agree it was definitely worth the wait, combining elements of electro and deep house into a genre I feel is best described as deep electro or from Hunter - 'retro future' or 'dark plur'.

 

On release hunter said - ""Waiting Up" addresses the feeling you have when its late and you really miss someone, feel alone, or just have that sensory feeling of "I wonder what _____ is doing right now"".

ZEDS DEAD & HUNTER SIEGEL - LOUD



Zeds Dead initially smashed the Dubstep scene with their particular style, however with the fall of the genre and Skream's (one of the pioneers of the genre) proclamation that "dubstep is dead", they started to diversify into other genres such as trap. Zeds Dead have proven that they are more than capable of producing huge electro house bangers as well, With there most recent colab with hunter siegel (and suitably titled) 'LOUD'.
The huge track goes in harder than a lot of the tracks on the beatport top 10 right from the fisrt few seconds and still features all the classic ingredients for a big room house track ready to take over the main stage at festivals globally. And they manage to do all this without losing Zeds Dead's signature sound and their background in the Dubstep industry can still be instantly recognised from start to finish.
